Space Force may sound like a pointless, and name only branch, but the Space Force will have a few roles to fulfill. First, they control all of the rockets that would fire into space. This will allow the installation of satellites which will provide a number of roles including Global Positioning, spy satellites, and communications channels. This is the biggest role of the Space Force, but an important one at that.
There will also be defensive satellites. Someone sending an ICBM to Kaldus will have a laser beam that will strike the ICBM destroying it in space rather than worry about it when it comes back to the atmosphere. For the laser, the satellite will have solar panels to accumulate and store energy for the laser. Since the laser is electric only, there will be no need to restock the satellites. The Space Force will also be in charge in taking out enemy satellites to make it harder for them to use the resources.
As a humanitarian goal, the Kaldan military will work with other nations in cleaning up the space trash that currently encircles the planet. This is a potential threat of not only the nation, but the world as a whole, and there never seemed to be a means in dealing with expired satellites. With the Space Force, there will be a plan in place for every satellite launched in space by the Kaldan government.
